1x1x2 Block on back-left:
R U2 R' U2 l U' l' U' R U R B R2 U

This is the only PLL (other than E perm) in which I can solve from any angle, as I previously tried many different algorithms. In short, this is my least favorite PLL. Yes, I hate this even more than E perm.

L U2 L' U2 L F' L' U' L U L F L2 U (I usually AUF to avoid this alg, since I don't really like left-handed alg)

(x') R' U' F' U R' U' (x) U R' U' R' U R B R2 (This can be crazily fast if you don't lock up at all)

R U2 R' U2 R B' R' U' R U R B R2 U

R U' R' U' R U R D R' U' R D' R' U2 R' U' (My main alg, insanely fast if no lock up)

On the other hand, Jt's alg is also crazily fast, but I figure that it's only fast if you can double trigger with both hands (which I can't  Embarrassed).

Since we had the topic of R perm, can I know the tricks on recognizing R perm? I had one during the competition and since I can't take my time figure it out, I waste 4 seconds before I used A(a) and U(a)..................... Cry

Thanks!!

Hope I am in the correct post.

R perms are not really hard to recognise actually. You'll see a 1x1x2 block somewhere , with matching colored corner adjacent to the block
You look at the edge that is in between these two corners and interpret whether it needs to go to left or right. Then perform the respective R perm

It looks like a T perm with 1 side 'broken'. ie Instead of 2 blocks of 2, there's a block of 2 and a block of 1.

@Bensonliang: what do you mean by double trigger by both hands? I assume that the algo of Jt is described in the previous post. And from what I understand, double trigger by both hands is LEFT and RIGHT handed used their first and middle finger in succession. So, what is the algo?

@Jt: I mean is how you recognize R(a) and (b)?

Can I make diff thread in this? Since you discuss R(a) in the first place......

Thanks.

Yes this is how I recognize a and b. a is 'broken' on the left, while b is on the right.

And yes you may make a new thread on this, since recognizing is a totally different topic.
