By basics what do you mean? It can be basic EO-EP-CP-CO(aka dan brown or dan knights or TRU method), or basic 4 look OLL/PLL last layer. Learn OLL/PLL if you haven't already.

My lbl times are better than fridrich-minus-OLL. Any idea why?

Is it recognition times? So do i use a metronome to practice or something, like everyone else does/is supposed to do? I don't really know your standards.

He means the TRU method.

Convert to OLL/PLL then. That should clear that brick wall thats stopping you from getting (a lot) faster.

Cross is a little slow, a lot of lag time and unnecessary rotations on F2L.

i guess no one is fast when they just started CFOP method .

it will be slower than their usual lbl for a period of time till they get used to the f2l,oll,pll recognition .

its still practice i guess  Grin .

turn like shelley to improve ! lols , thats how i improve though  Cheesy .

Learn it by triggers. Break the algorithm down into a few short easy parts.
