sadded.......
its not even possible to get parts anywhere in the world. good luck =P
try asking at international forums? or email verdes....
personally i think verdes is racist...he seems to replace whatever stuff that the westerners lost and for us asians (i heard of another case of a broken core of a black v5), replacement is a difficulty...so you can still try ur luck =P
perhaps tell him u wanted to fix a certain misalignment and you lost that piece...don't mention the modded part..
There is no need to use personal attacks such as "racist". Just like me, Verdes is of Greek origin,
which is a civilisation which has as rich history as China and India. Greece is not a racist country,
but because it has been a country which has been in the middle of so many wars in the past
(and in almost all cases without being helped by other countries, western or not) we have always
been quite cautious. Plus, if you ever go to the Greek islands, you will be amazed by our hospitality.
Back to the topic. MindStrat Puzzles is a company which has Greek, Indian and Chinese people.
In my opinion, it is a perfect mix, as it combines many qualities together. As a company, we work
with Verdes' son, and I can assure you, he is a very nice guy. But lately he is very worried with the copying.
For example, many Europeans have been alarmed by the uncontrollable copying of their products,
and this is why there are new laws which make Europe like a fortress. We all need to understand this.
Finally, regarding the pieces, please email him. I am not sure of the personal experience of
individuals, but I know many cases where Asian puzzlers had received an extra piece replacement.
But if it took you as long as two months to do this, then you cannot expect a compensation.
And maybe we could also discuss about making some sort of part replacement in Singapore.
But I repeat, please refrain from calling names. What we need is to make things better by finding
a solution, and not make them worse.
